Winning razor is mix of great and bad. Great: Excellent efficiency and blade clamping for a smooth, comfortable, and mild but close shave. Against the grain pass is so comfortable and efficient in particular. Well made and feels like of high end razor. For $50 this is an amazing razor. Gives as good a shave as a premium razor that costs several times as much. The handle is surprisingly easy to grip, even wet, despite the smooth surface. Efficiency is as good as my more aggressive razors keeping me smooth as long into the day. Very forgiving razor allowing a good degree of over-shaving and poor technique. Can go on autopilot. Bad: lot of drag as the head profile puts too much metal on same plane against skin; would prefer a slimmer head profile for easier glide; lots of small holes for lather ports make me suspect there is too much surface tension to allow lather and stubble to pass through easily
