The only improvement that I can think of for this product would be to make the Umbrella Shaft in STAINLESS STEEL rather than Steel of which I don't know why it is not, but other than that I am satisfied, Compact, Innovative, Quality, Durable, Dual Use, Innocuous, Covert.

Gram for gram best titanium alloys are stronger than low- to medium-grade stainless steels but not high-grade stainless steels, and even less so a high-grade carbon steel. Because titanium has much lower density than steel (less mass per volume), a titanium rod of strength equal to that of a high-grade carbon steel rod has to be thicker than the steel rod. So, a titanium rod as strong as needed for the telescopic shaft of Model U-202s would have to be substantially thicker than such a rod made of high-grade carbon steel. A thicker rod requires a thicker tube of the shaft, and that would make the folded umbrella too bulky for most people to wrap their hand around.

Unbreakable® Telescopic Umbrella Model U-202s's shaft is made of carbon steel because stainless steel cannot be tempered to be strong enough for this umbrella intended for professionals in personal protection business.
