Butter smooth, works very well. Probably one of the better knives tacknives sells. I believe they used 14c28n steel (also primarily the steel Kershaw uses) on this knife vs d2 On a lot of the other ones.
14c28n steel doesn't rust as easy, its easier to sharpen and get a finer edge, though it may not...
