Brawler64 Original
I will preface by saying that this is my favorite N64 controller by far. It is very comfortable to hold, the buttons feel great, and the joystick is comfortable. I would highly recommend this controller to anybody who does not like the design of the original. However, there are a few flaws that if fixed, would make the controller even better. The first is the Z triggers. They have a lot of travel, which is unnecessary as they are digital buttons. According to Retro Fighters, the new 2.4 ghz wireless version of the Brawler64 will have updated Z triggers that "will have a more original "digital" press versus an "analog" pull", which is great to see, and I hope this comes to the wired version in the future. The second problem is the analog gates of the Joystick. While likely not to be noticed by many, the Joystick has a different analog gate than an original N64 controller. The Brawler64 has an perfect octagon, with all side lengths and angles being equal, while the N64 controller has an

It only took about 20 yrs, but glad someone took the time out to perfect the Dreamcast controller... the original was ahead of it's time with the implementation of the VMU's, but it also felt like a HUUUUGE step back from the AMAZING Sega Saturn controller ver. 2, ESPECIALLY for fighting games. This controller DOES look and feel amazing, but my one gripe would be how the VMU's protrude from the top. It doesn't affect gameplay, more like the aesthetics of the controller. Now, I KNOW this controller was made to perfect the Dreamcast controller, but if there were one thing I'd add to REALLY make it better is another two buttons to make this a real 6-button controller, all while keeping the options for the shoulder buttons and triggers... redundant? Sure, but all in all, minor stuff... no blatant gripes.

Warrior Wireless Adapter
Works as advertised, just wish that the LED in the middle was brighter and it had a rechargeable battery.

Fantastic Controller and great alternative to the original N64 controller. If you are debating getting the Tribute 64 or this one...get this one. The analog stick is fantastic. My only gripes with this controller is the Z buttons being triggers and not buttons feel weird and some of the buttons feel slightly spongy. However the positives heavily outweigh the negatives. Definitely pick this one up.

In all the areas that matter most, Retro Fighters is a 5 star company. I recommend them to all my friends. Delivery was painless. In the past, I had an issue with a faulty controller, and the customer service was so good that it blew me away. The only reason I give 4 stars is because of the website. Loading always seems a bit slow, and I have run into time out issues during checkout.

Retro Fighters customer service is excellent. The controller I ordered had a defective trigger and they sent me a replacement promptly. Unfortunately, the replacement had the same issue as the first controller.

I couldn't quite go 5 stars with my rating, its more like a 4.5 but I can't select that. Anyways, this is an excellent controller, its so much more ergonomically correct that you don't even feel like you're playing the Dreamcast! Big improvements to the overall feel, thumbstick and d-pad. The face buttons are perfect and who doesn't love where the cord is located? My only gripes were mainly that the triggers are ultra sensitive and in a game or two that utilized them in a certain way I would unknowingly use the triggers at times and it was enough to annoy me. Perhaps my hands are too big because I didn't feel comfortable resting my fingers anywhere else but on the bottom of the triggers. Also a minor gripe is that I wish the controller had just a little more weight to it. Could be personal preference. Otherwise this has become my go-to Dreamcast controller and i'm very pleased.
