Website is visually appealing but very choppy and not optimized which can be frustrating. Delivery took nearly a month however I blame that more on Covid than on Retro Fighters.

Retro Fighters
I've given 3 stars because the delivery service on this side of the pond is lousy. I'm still waiting for my game pad to arrive so haven't got my hands on it yet, but it's getting great reviews from the gamers I follow on YouTube so I imagine I will be happy once I have received it. Retro fighters done everything on their end just fine so they are worth more then 3 stars, and I would love to buy direct again, but it's just isn't plausible as by the time UK customs and royal mail take their pound of flesh (another 20+ bucks between them to release my property) means it's cost me over 100 dollars for a controller which has since become available on Amazon for £49.99 with free delivery. It didn't help royal mail had a system failure which didn't register my payment so I spent 8 hours chasing people up before they found the problem cancelled my 1st payment and then asked me to pay it again I would like to able to support retro fighters by buying directly (I have 15 consols) but I can

StrikerDC
The StrikerDC is a nice improvement over the stock controller and I plan to keep using it, but I'm disappointed. Pros: - The grips are a massive improvement over the stock pad, they are so much more comfortable, it's not even close. - The triggers are an awful lot more comfortable too. - Improved d-pad. - I haven't tried to use the turbo function yet, but that's a great feature to have. - Haven't had any compatibility problems yet. Cons: - The analog stick seems to have a button under it. There is no button there on the Dreamcast controller, so the StrikerDC just has an extra button that does nothing. - The stick is really loose and has a ton of play in it; it feels like an Xbox 360 controller after ten years of heavy use. It doesn't seem to cause dead zone problems, but it feels bad. - The way I hold the controller, my left hand rubs up against where the VMU slots are. I can adjust my grip a bit to avoid that, but it's less comfortable. - All of the buttons are stiff and very loud.

Leagues better than the original Dreamcast controllers. I only have fighting games on my dreamcast so i can't speak to their quality with other games, but unfortunately the d-pad seems to confuse diagonal inputs. I tested with both of the controllers i ordered and they both have the same issue; starting a forward or backward jump from a neutral position on the d-pad usually gives me a neutral jump instead. This is unfortunate but not deal-breaking, I've found myself starting with a forward or backward direction and rolling up to get my foward or back jumps. I was really hoping these would be better so i could justify not building a fight stick to use on my 20 year old system.

StrikerDC
It's definitely more ergonomic than the original, but it feels so much like cheap plastic that it made the controller feel gross to use. The cheapest parts of it being the analog triggers, mine just felt so mushy. I also was not a fan of how clicky the face buttons were, especially when playing at night. The analog stick while being more grippy does not feel good, I think for the $50 price tag it's great to have options, but this didn't seem worth the price to me.

The site informed me that my product arrived already, but it didn't, which had me assume it might have shown up at the wrong address. It was just late though.
