The StrikerDC is my first major disappointment with a Retro Fighters product. The controller has rough edges on sides. It feels top-heavy when using a VMU and vibration pack. It is not compatible with my DC to USB adapter for use on PC. The controller box was packed in a thin outer box without any padding. The largest problem though is the analog triggers. The first controller I received had a right trigger with an unusually high amount of resistance. Retro Fighters sent me a replacement right away. But the replacement had the same issue. The triggers feel imprecise, sloppy, and mushy. Holding them in for more than a few seconds can give hand cramps. That makes it useless for racing games where you have to continuously hold down the right trigger to accelerate. They should be larger and wider like the Xbox controller. A real shame, given all the hype and the long wait period due to Covid-19 delays.

Website is super buggy! Even on my highest end PC's it runs like crap. Customer service is good, but I'm STILL waiting for my return shipping label.

It's feels like a cheap product for the price-point.

I really wanted to love this controller, I really did, but after spending quite a bit of time with it I can't overlook the glaring problems. First of all is the design. Why they made the controller shorter so that the VMU sticks out is beyond me. Not only does it look ugly but if your using the vibration pack it adds a significant amount of bulk weight to the top of the controller making it constantly lean backwards in your hands. Never have that problem with the original Dreamcast controller. The left and right bumper buttons for fighting games are a nice idea but the left bumper button is sitting too far forward on the controller making it very uncomfortable to use over time. The L & R analogue triggers are smaller because of the placement of the bumper buttons, making them less comfortable then the original Dreamcast ones. They are also overly sensitive, the original Dreamcast analogue L & R buttons have a nice resistant spring to them, these are way too easy to push in. Th

I can't log in the web site without resetting my password. (Firefox on Ubuntu 18.04, Noscript lets everything through except Google Analytics). Note that I use a password manager, so mistyping is almost impossible (I copy & paste my password the first time, then save it in my browser). This issue prevents me from tracking my order, which is annoying. Not sure what the cause is. The order itself went smoothly. I haven't received my package yet, but this is expected (long delay because I live oversees, and the world is still struggling with that crowned ball of genes).
