Whereas I have come to prefer MTR Holsters, this one which I ordered for a S&W 686 6-inch was less than the standards of which I expected. The problem I found was that upon attempting to re-holster the revolver, the leading edge of the cylinder will always stop "CATCH" and prevent the revolver from entering the holster beyond the front of the cylinder. The holster at it's topmost entry point produces a ledge that prevents any smooth entry of the revolver into the body of the holster. I must wiggle and rotate the pistiol around the topmost part of the holster, with some force, in order to fully seat the revolver into the fully seated position of the holster. VERY ANNOYING!
