Thanks for being a customer, Nadya! Glad you like the gentle water streams. We size all Garden Grids to fit the interior dimensions of most garden beds, accounting for common garden bed thickness which makes the interior of a garden bed's planting area less than full-square foot measurement. For instance, a 4ft x 4ft garden bed made from 2" thick wood, would have an interior planting area of 44"x44" (two inches from all sides are occupied by the thickness of the wood). For that plant spacing tool, lifting the Garden Grid briefly to put that underneath and make your space markings is a good solution.

COULDN'T CONNECT PIECES- TOO TIGHT. i USED A HAIRDRYER AND WARMED THE PLASTIC AND IT WAS EASY TO CONNECT THEN.

Hi Mary. Glad you were able to get everything together. Sorry to hear about the difficulty. We have some tips to simplify though. Let the Garden Grids sit out in the sun to warm for about 15-20 minutes. Then, during assembly wiggle the tubes up and down while pushing - the wiggle part let's the fitting grab and pull the tubes on more easily. Here's our assembly video to see. Thanks!
