This catches better than other collapsible baskets I've owned. The tray is deep allowing you to throw multiple putts at once. For example 10 if you're playing a certain unnamed putting game. Obviously it has fewer chains than a non collapsible basket, but you won't notice this until you are putting from near the circles edge when you have to put a little more gusto on your putt. Of course if you put each putt on the pole you'll never have this problem.
