I like this Charcolite cool lightener a lot. I’ve been using over a year now and my fellow stylist uses it on my own hair as well. I love the coolness to it and I have gotten many, many compliments on my hair as well since switching to Difiaba Charcolite. I love the fact that it causes no damage, as it doesn’t swell the hair shaft…that’s a win win! You DO have to use the Charcolite shampoo and conditioner to keep it cool but honestly I like both and they smell great. I only wish the shampoo would have more lather. The only thing I would hope to see in the near future is Difiaba would develop an easier way to measure the product. I would love to see a measuring cup instead of weighing the product on a scale that’s why I took away a star. I rather use a wide mouth measuring cup so you measure in ounces for lightener and developer. Weighing product tends to lead to a lot waste which happens. I use their 20 volume developer in front as I have some gray in front of my head and I use 30 volume developer in back of my head as I’m darker back there. I leave the conditioner on my head for 45 minutes right after washing out Charcolite lightener to tone very cool as I prefer that look. Then I use Charcolite shampoo and condition every time I wash and condition about 3 times a week to keep it looking cool. After 2 weeks I (as hair oxidizes) I repeat toner leave in after shampooing for 45 minutes and it brightens hair right back up. Works great on me and my clients! Love the grayish black color easy to see it for precise placement. Would definitely recommend! It’s amazing!
