Beautifully bound and presented, but the poor paper quality makes these notebooks completely unusable with a fountain pen. They are all right for use with a pencil, and may be fine with a ballpoint (I haven’t tried a ballpoint), but the ink from a fountain pen shows through - and often bleeds through - to the reverse of the page. I have some old Denbigh notebooks dating back to the mid-1980s, and they do not suffer from the same problem. I would happily pay more for better paper. It seems a pity to spoil such a fine product by skimping on paper quality.
